Tam Coc aka Ha Long bay on land, represent the best of Vietnam rural. Paddy field as far as your eyes could view, criss crossing with waterways and limestone hills. Definitely at ease with nature here.

Met these two Indonesian lady onboard of AK 760 to Hanoi. They were part of a band of four ladies who were on tour from Jakarta>KLIA>Hanoi>Vietnam/China border>Siem Reap, Cambodia.

The Present - Kuala Lipis revisited

A view from Lipis wet market. Jelai river that snakes through hilly areas around Lipis thats head towards Lipis River 2 kilometres downstream. Further south it will meets with Tembeling River and later Pahang Rivers which eventually ends in Royal Town of Pekan in the southeast.



1 kilometre downstream where the water passed under a bridge that connects Kechau and Lipis Town. An alternative road to those heading north towards Kota Bharu
