The Present - Munching Sugar Cane in Shekou

Munching sugarcane? sound like reminiscence of my glorious childhood days. The 1st time perhaps after over twenty years I had the opportunity to rip and sucks sweet juice from this little trunk. Except that this time I did it thousand of miles away from home in this vibrant city of Shekou, a sub city to Shenzhen, South west of China.

Munching sugarcane is the Chinese favorite snack, apparent from many who munch along the street despite in suite or up to date dresses

In Picture are my dear friends from Singapore.
