That includes the old rest house (which was British Resident former villa), the administration buildings,Clifford School and Pahang Club, all of which were built during early of last century.

The Past-Singing in the Face of Danger 2

Jan 1965, Sg Katibas near Indonesia border. A light moment a after day out patrolling. This was during 'confrontation' between Malaysia and Indonesia, small and forgotten war from 1963 to 1966. My late father was seen holding the guitar with young men of ??th Batallion Royal Malay Regiment. The were at the peak of their ages, giving their young life guarding then very young nation of Malaysia against the incursion of the enemy. Some didn't return alive.......

The Present-Train of Vietnam

We were at the Hanoi Long Bien Train station, the gate was open so there we were on the track, capturing the moment the train arrives. We have no clue where the train were coming from and her direction as all signboard were written in Vietnamese language. I must tell you that we were chased out by someone with uniformed, presumably the station master for trespassing.

The station is located above the ground, looks very old and from the engraving on the bridge structure, it was dated back to early 1902 and was built by French Co, just like any other structure during those period.
