The Present-Bloodsucker

Went down the slope to pick up some durian along the water trail and this little monster creep on and stuck to the skin like a leech. It is indeed a leech. Despite applying some repellant on the boot and kept a watchful eye on the ground a few did find their ways. Enough to sent the whole house to frenzy.

To get rid of it, you need a machete and tenderly 'skin it off' from the skin.

The Present - Fruit Season is back

A little too early, perhaps a week early for Durian. The falls has been scattered just enough to meet our craving desire for this king of fruit. These bunch came from a decades old tree, still faithfully bearing fruits for the 3rd generation of the family who planted the seed hopefully for more generations to come. The rambutan is screaming in red and a bonnet of a 4WD alone doesn't seem to be enough to fill the rambutan from the whole tree.

The Present - Fraser's Hill

Located along Malaysia main mountain range aka the spine of the peninsular, still like like the old days. Physically Fraser's Hills is still kept away from the savage of commercial development. Traffic is much lesser in comparison to the other highlands retreat and the mountain air is cool and crispy. I was there on a day trip with bunch of friends in what was my first bird photography trip. Though the end result was far for what I have expected, it was a quantum leap in terms of gaining new experience in photographing bird.

The Present - Sinking of a barge

Photo send by a friend in Singapore. This barge, named Semco Giant V, sunk around the Batam water recently. The sinking was caused by malfunction of water ballast pump. What is the significant of this incident?.......

.....I was standing on the same barge, on the control deck, few months ago. The control deck still on the surface of water in the 1st picture. We were inspecting the same barge, though she appears to be overworked, we certified it fit for that particular marine adventure. This barge is submergesible type ie that can sink itself below water and lift herself up again, made to carry oil paltform.

The Past - Kota Bharu 1966

Pictured is my cousin, possibly aged 5-6 years old, stood in front of a major street in Kota Bharu town, possibly Jln Temenggong, 42 years ago. He is now a succesful engineer a living in Penang with his family. We occasionally meet in KB during big days like Hari Raya, School holiday, wedding etc. How time flew and whilst we all has grown up, we indeed outgrown Kota Bharu. Kota Bharu is still Kota Bharu from the look in the picture. Trishaw and rustic building still dominates the town

The Past-Notes from yesteryears

Nothing extraordinary about these old photos. Flip the back of it and suddenly there is rush of emotions and expression pouring out from a piece of photo. That few lines of words signed off for an eternal relationship between friends and relatives that were brought apart by circumstances. These are collection of photos which belongs to my late father.

The Present-My Office

This is my work station at Wisma Antah, Damansara Heights, KL. Occasionally become chat@lepak@coffee station for occasional guests dropping by our office. Though it always refreshing to those new to our office, the office has seen it better days as we have been here for the last 10 years and the building itself is over 25 years old.

Soon we will be moving out to brand new building next door.

The Present - Business Plaque

found this at an older part of Seremban town. This section of the town has been established over a century ago and this got to be the proof of its old existence.

The Present - Outing In Seremban

Went outing with fellow enthusiasts from photosantai.com. Seremban was the choice of place to display our comradeship which has been built all these months through the website. It was well organized and the host Nan@Pa Alisya live up to the true Nogori hospitality. Thanks a lot for the great time mates!.Looks forward to such outing again in not too distant future.
