I'm using both. To me ZD 40mm-150mm [mk1] is sharper than ZD 70mm-300mm. I think yours is mk2 that come with ED elements, which is even better. Try taking pics at f8 where sharpness is at its best. Kena pakai tripod - kecuali kamera ada "IS".
My sincere advice, if u already had ZD40-150mm [unless u do birding, bugs and butts] stick to that one first. It is actually the BEST value-for-money from Olympus!
Next priority probably either invest on macro lens or upgrade to E-520 that comes with in-body "IS".

Sdr Taja dah angkat itu lensa ZD 70-300mm ke? Kini rege dia RM1200++
belum lagi abe, tgh kiro2 bujet, lagipun belum puas main 40-150 ni.
Tgh nok settle kan hal GPS ni.
